Full Canopy Tree Care is a locally owned and family owned and operated tree care company serving the Georgetown and central Texas area since 2003. Very hands on, we don't just send out a crew of unqualified laborers. Our jobs are directed and evaluated by an ISA Certified Arborist, a professional who has been extensively educated in tree health, pruning practices, and safe climbing and equipment usage techniques, which means not only is job performance safer for our crews and cost effective for our clients, it is better for your trees. Most of our work is performed by an ISA Certified Arborist or ISA Certified tree workers. Our staff is very knowledgeable on proper arboriculture practices. We pride ourselves on a high standard of quality for every job we perform, whether it be pruning, correct collar cuts, discretion in pruning practices to avoid over pruning. We don't cut corners. We treat our clients trees as if they were our own. Our oak wilt treatments are performed and/or lead by an ISA Certified Arborist who is Texas Oak Wilt certified.

A Health-First Approach to Tree Care

Our professional staff has a health first approach to tree care. We prefer a natural organic approach to encourage and maintain tree health. Our service begins with a conversation with each client about their current concerns with their trees and their short term and long term goals for their landscaping. Tree health, tree longevity, property usage goals, budget, safety, and protection of existing structures are all part of each job, and we consider each factor before making recommendations to property owners. Every job is different, and we give each job the time, attention, and quality work it deserves.

We participate each year in the ISA Texas Tree Climbing Championship. Our lead Arborist has volunteered at the TTCC as an Event Judge since 2008 and we've had staff members place as high as 6th overall in the State of Texas and 3rd place in the Aerial Rescue event.

We train our staff members for climbing and equipment safety, aerial rescue and on site first aid. We are proud to note that we have had no major work site accidents in the history of our company. We are insured for your protection. We use all personal protection equipment (PPE) such as helmets, eye protection, ear protection, and chainsaw chaps, per current ANSI standards.

We sterilize all saws and cutting tools and use pruning paint on live pruning cuts on oaks to prevent the spread of oak wilt and other tree diseases.

Trees' leaves and live limbs should not be over pruned or lion-tailed. The goal is to have a healthy and lush Full Canopy and not over prune trees.
